Nicolò Zaniolo is reportedly intent on moving away from the Italian capital before the end of this transfer window in order to join Juventus.
According to La Repubblica, the 22-year-old refused to train with his teammates earlier this morning before Roma’s flight out to Portugal.
Zaniolo once again reiterated his desire to become a Juventus player and did not participate in group training exercises on Tuesday morning.
Thus, he is doubtful for tomorrow’s friendly with Sunderland as the young attacker was rumoured to have a chance to start after missing Roma’s first preseason friendly with Trastevere.
