Lazio attacker Pedro recalled the circumstances that led his premature exit from Roma in 2021.
The former Chelsea winger was once again asked about his controversial switch to city rivals Lazio after being excluded from Roma’s squad.
“It was a very complicated situation,” Pedro told Marca. “They froze me out and nobody spoke to me about it. I didn’t even know what was happening.”
“Everybody knows what happened next, there’s no bitterness on my part. Roma made their decision and I’m happy to have joined Lazio as a result.”
