Lazio boss Maurizio Sarri: “I’m f****** pissed about the derby.”

Lazio manager Maurizio Sarri expressed his pent up frustration about the way his side lost the Derby della Capitale in today’s press conference ahead of the Biancocelesti‘s clash against Sassuolo.

The ex-Chelsea boss did not hold back when he said, “The derby was inexplicable, not so much for the result but for the attitude we had.”

“After that first minute there was a feeling that somehow the game was over,” he said.

“I’m f****** pissed at the players and at myself for how we handled it.”

He added, “The day before the derby I had the feeling that the energy was not the right one, I tried to intervene but probably I did not do it correctly.”

When asked about the future, Sarri replied, “We’ll see what happens, for me the future is Sassuolo.”
