Lazio director Igli Tare protested against Serie A’s refereeing after one of his players, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, was suspended for the upcoming Derby della Capitale due to accumulation of yellow cards.
The Albanian executive voiced his frustration in an interview with Sky Sport earlier tonight: “We’re enraged by this decision.”
“As Sarri said, it is the first time in my career that I see a player carrying the ball and receiving a yellow card while in possession.”
“The fact that Sergej was deprived of the opportunity to play in the derby is not right. He deserved it more than anyone else,” Tare concluded.
