Lazio President Claudio Lotito spoke ahead of the highly-anticipated Derby della Capitale on Sunday.

The Italian owner of the Biancocelesti made some heated comments with regards to Roma’s dedicated fanbase.

“I always experience games with light-heartedness and serenity,” Lotito Radio Serie A. “For us the derby a match outside of regular league matches. It is in a league of its own.”

“I hope that the team finds the unity and strength to express itself 100% to give great satisfaction to the fans who deserve to see their team play with sacrifice, determination and hungry for results.”

“My favorite moment was the day we won the Coppa Italia in 2013 against Roma. It was a special moment in a city that lives and breathes such games.”

“Roma fans? They’re trouble-makers, and tend to talk a lot. But when they fail to reach their objectives, they hide and disappear. Lazio fans seem to prefer to suffer in silence,” he added.
