Lazio President Claudio Lotito once again fired shots at Roma in a recent interview.

The Italian owner of the Biancocelesti discussed Lazio’s aspirations for the season including this year’s Champions League campaign.

We have set up a team that has, in terms of quality and numbers, everything to compete in both competitions,” Lotito told Radio Serie A.

“Lazio made an evaluation last year. We believe that the Conference League is a competition that is not of interest to Lazio.”

“The Champions League is a whole different story,” he added. “It’s a competition that provides extraordinary resources and great visibility.”
