Lazio President Claudio Lotito spoke out against Gianluca Mancini post-derby celebrations involving an anti-Lazio flag with a rat on display.

The Biancocelesti chairman attended an event for Euro 2024 at Villa Almone where he discussed the episode from Saturday night that sparked plenty of controversy in Italy.

“A Lazio player would never have done the gesture made by Mancini,” Lotito told sportface.it.

“The behavior of our players is completely different from that of other teams,” he added.

“Is Mancini’s fine the right punishment? Each one of us is free to make their own judgement. We can’t do anything besides accepting what the judge’s decision.”
