After the signing of Pedro in the summer of 2021, which marked the first switch of a Giallorossi player to their city rivals Lazio in over three decades, the Biancocelesti are reportedly considering the addition of another player from Roma.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Lazio have set their sights on Henrikh Mkhitaryan, whose contract with Roma is set to expire in June.

Roma’s General Manager Tiago Pinto is already at work to secure the Armenian’s renewal, with meetings with the player’s agent already lined up in the coming weeks.

However, Lazio are very much interested in the 34-year-old who has become one of the more consistent performers of Mourinho’s side.

Lazio president Claudio Lotito is personally willing to engage in eventual talks with Mkhitaryan’s entourage.

The former Borussia Dortmund player, however, is fully focused on Roma and wants to continue to work with Mourinho.
