Lazio midfielder Mateo Guendouzi reflected on some of last season’s highlights for his side.
In an interview with Lazio Style Channel, Guendouzi referred to Lazio’s 1-0 win over Roma in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals as one of the best moments in an otherwise complicated campaign for the Biancocelesti.
“From last year we carry with us the excellent memories we made in the Champions League, with the fans having especially enjoyed the victory at home against Bayern Munich,” said the Frenchman who joined Lazio a year ago from Marseille.
“And then certainly when we beat Roma in the derby at home, in Coppa Italia, it was equally fantastic and felt just as good.”
