Lazio are expected to recover their starting goalkeeper ahead of the highly anticipated Derby della Capitale.
Having suffered a serious injury before the break, it seemed almost impossible to recover for the derby but Lazio hopes to have Provedel back for next Saturday.
To confirm the possible ‘miracle’ of the former Spezia goalkeeper is Lazio’s team doctor, Rodia, in an interview with Lazio Style Channel.
“Provedel is progressing in the best possible way,” said Rodia. “He will undergo some checks at the beginning of the week but we are optimistic about his recovery.”
