Lazio goal-keeper Ivan Provedel spoke about the Derby della Capitale following his side’s defeat to Bologna on Friday night.
In his post-match interview with Sky Sport, Provedel stressed the importance of the Derby.
“One might think that Bologna is not a top-level team like Feyenoord or Roma and then the pitch and the standings say otherwise. We don’t think about this. For us every match is important, almost fundamental because we want to finish among the first four teams in the league as to play again in the Champions League next year too.”
“Roma is one of those matches where you have to score points because if you don’t score points you won’t reach the top positions. It’s a matter of points, that’s it. In the Champions League we are still in it and we will do our best. We have to work and be tough.”
