Lazio player Matteo Guendouzi kick-started a fight to end yesterday’s Derby della Capitale.
The Frenchman had repeatedly gone back and forth with the likes of Paulo Dybala, taunting the Argentine and even holding him by the throat.
Footage caught from the stadium showed how Guendouzi punched Roma midfielder Leandro Paredes in the stomach.
The Lazio player can be seen delivering the blow as Paredes runs across to celebrate with his teammates.
Referee Guida was in front of the two players and saw the scene without taking disciplinary action.
The Frenchman was among the most nervous players during the match and in the second half he came face to face with Dybala after a clash. La Joya then showed him the shin guards with the World Cup won in 2022.
