Lazio attacker Mattia Zaccagni proved to be the star of today’s Derby della Capitale, winning the match for Maurizio Sarri’s side.
At full-time, Zaccagni expressed his feelings regarding a crucial victory which puts the Biancocelesti several points above their city rivals.
“I went to celebrate with the supporters because I felt like dedicating them my goal,” Zaccagni told DAZN after the match.
“I promised myself that if I scored a goal I would go and celebrate with the fans and I felt like going there.”
“We are very happy because it was a derby and because our current position in the table allows us to look forward to the next games with more enthusiasm.”
