Lazio attacker Mattia Zaccagni discussed the Biancocelesti’s season of ups and downs and compared it to Roma’s campaign.

In an interview with Sky Sport, Zaccagni assessed his team’s progress since the appointment of Igor Tudor as head coach.

“I’ve had a fairly complicated season, with many injuries along the way. Today, however, I am happy to be back and to have helped the team bring home the 3 points,” Zaccagni said after Lazio’s 1-0 win over Hellas Verona.

“There’s so many things that can happen from here until the end of the season. Let’s grab all the points we can and then we will look at the final league table.”

“I think we’re not too far off from Roma. The derbies are separate matches, but I don’t think our season has been to different from Roma’s.”
