Roma midfielder Leandro Paredes spoke ahead of Argentina’s Copa America kick-off.
The Giallorossi player was involved in press conference ahead of the match with Canada.
Paredes told reporters how the consistent playing time at Roma helped him get to Copa America in top physical condition.
“I feel very good physically and football-wise” Paredes said on Thursday.
“I’m coming off an important year with my club,” he added.
“Argentina’s chances? We don’t feel pressure, we feel it’s a good challenge for us after the World Cup. We know how difficult it is to defend the title we won three years ago.”
“The group has the right mentality and wants to continue doing important things.”
