Leandro Paredes reflected on the impact Roma managed Daniele De Rossi has had on his form since his appointment as the Giallorossi’s head coach in January.

At the end of Argentina’s game with Costa Rica, Paredes – who came on in the second half – was asked about his positive spell with the Giallorossi.

“Today I play with much more continuity in my club, I feel better and this certainly also applies to the national team,” said the midfielder.

“De Rossi gives me a lot because his idea of football fits extremely well with me and I think I feel better every day.”

“Dybala was sad he could not be here. He has had a very good two months, feeling very good physically, playing in the best way since he arrived in Rome. Having this injury shortly after his call-up certainly made him very sad but he is fine and will be back stronger,” he added.
