Roma midfielder Leandro Paredes was back on the scoresheet in last night’s 4-1 win over Monza, scoring a penalty to put the game away.
The Argentine international discussed Daniele De Rossi’s teachings and instructions and how he got the Giallorossi to play more offensive-minded football.
“We played the kind of match we had prepared,” Paredes told Sky Sport at full-time. “We knew the kind of team we were facing. We cannot be satisfied, we still have to improve.”
“De Rossi? He gave us his idea of football and we understood it. He was already a coach when he was a player, it was easy to understand him as a teammate and it is also easy to understand him as a coach. We must continue to improve, we can do even better.”
“I feel good physically, last season with Juventus I wasn’t 100% physically now I feel good,” he added.
