Argentine midfielder Leandro Paredes is having the best season of his career since his arrival in Europe.

As reported by Francesco Balzani for ForzaRoma.info, Paredes is about to conclude the best campaign of his career with a total of 47 appearances across all competitions.

This is the most Paredes has ever played without a single injury all season long.

The previous record was always with Roma in 2016-2017 when he collected 41 appearances.

With the exception of the highest goal tally of 6 during the 17-18 season with Zenith, Paredes has also improved his goal contribution with 5 goals and 7 assists this season.

After an unexpected return to the Italian capital and the decision to wear Daniele De Rossi’s legendary 16 jersey, Paredes has proven to be a pivotal player in Roma’s long term plans, especially since De Rossi’s appointment as the team’s head coach.
