Roma midfielder Leandro Paredes had high praise for head coach Daniele De Rossi.
In an interview with Roma TV, Paredes discussed the manager’s impact and previewed the upcoming first leg of the Europa League semifinals with Bayer Leverkusen.
“I had two days to get ready to get to this match in the best way,” said Paredes who was recently suspended for the match against Napoli. “It’s important that we still have a couple of days left to prepare as a team.”
“Against Bayer we expect it to be difficult but so were the other games we played before this,” added the Argentine.
“De Rossi? Everything the coach tells us gives us the incentive to always do better, to continue improving, because I think, as I said a short time ago, that we have a lot to improve and I think we are doing it well too.”
“I have a very, very good relationship with the coach who always tells me things, even when I can’t do them well, he’s someone who talks to me a lot and inspires me to be better so I’m really happy with how it’s going.”
