Roma midfielder Leandro Paredes was one of the team’s best players in tonight’s 1-1 draw with Feyenoord.
The Giallorossi were able to level the scoresheet in the second half to close out the first leg of the Europa League playoffs.
In his post-match interview with Sky Sport, Paredes praised his team.
“I think we played a good game on a difficult pitch against a strong team. We suffered a bit near the end, but we have to be prepared for it in these kinds of games. We take home the draw with us.”
“We have shown are capable of suffering. After every match we think about improving, we must continue to do so.”
“We are not worried about Lukaku when he doesn’t score. We are calm because we know how important he is for us. We knew the goal would come, now we hope it will continue like this.”
