Argentine midfielder Leandro Paredes could soon make his first start for the Giallorossi.
Following a brief cameo appearance in Roma’s season opener with Salernitana, Paredes responded well to the coaching staff’s instructions and is now reportedly closing in on Sunday’s starting line-up.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Paredes is predicted to start against Hellas Verona.
It remains to be seen what formation Mourinho will opt for given that Paulo Dybala and Lorenzo Pellegrini will be back from suspension.
