Leandro Paredes rejects large offer from Galatasaray before agreeing to Roma return

Leandro Paredes is set to make his return to Roma after departing the club in the summer of 2017.

The Argentine midfielder will replace Nemanja Matic who is on his way to joining Rennes on a permanent deal.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Paredes prioritized his move to Roma despite receiving a large offer from Galatasaray.

The Turkish giants had found an agreement with PSG for Paredes’ transfer, but the player declined this destination in favor of Roma.

The newspaper reports that Paredes will sign a contract with the Giallorossi until 2025 with the option for another year. Roma will pay around €4-5 million for Argentine’s permanent transfer.
