The Serie A sporting judge has released a verdict concerning Leandro Paredes’ red card in Roma-Genoa.
Upon reviewing the footage from Sunday’s match, the sporting judge handed Paredes a two-match suspension plus a €5,000 fine.
The motivation behind this decision stemmed from the fact that Paredes initially protested the referee’s decision and was then caught further making matters worse by directly insulting the match official.
