Roma midfielder Leandro Paredes accompanied Jose Mourinho in today’s pre-match press conference ahead of Thursday’s night Europa League fixture.
On the eve of the match with Servette, Paredes addressed Mourinho’s compliments, “I thank the coach for his kind words and his support.”
When asked about the team’s ambitions in the Europa League competition this year, Paredes told reporters, “I think we have a strong team. We can do much better than what we’ve shown so far and we are working to improve.”
“Right now I feel fine, much better than when I arrived. And I’m ready to play 90 minutes. The more I play and the faster I will get back to 100%.”
“The Roma I returned to is different from the one I left years ago. I’m happy to be here and so is my family. I love Roma and I will do everything to give my best and win something with this shirt.”
