Lecce manager Roberto D’Aversa expressed his bitterness over his side’s defeat at Stadio Olimpico from a few days ago.
The Italian technician reflected on Roma’s comeback as one of the more painful episodes of the season thus far for Lecce.
In his pre-match presser ahead of Lecce-Milan, D’Aversa noted, “We always step on the pitch to play openly. Milan are a different team, we have to play with quality to avoid counterattacks.”
“I can guarantee that the fans’ discontent with our result with Roma was also there on our part. At the end of the match I wanted to destroy the dressing room. Tomorrow we can’t afford to concede anything in the first or last two minutes.”
