Lecce director meets with Roma to finalise Edoardo Bove’s transfer

Andy Mattioli

Roma are nearing the temporary exit of young midfielder Edoardo Bove.

The capital club have been in talks with Lecce for a permanent transfer for Bove whose limited playing time with Jose Mourinho motivated him to seek more minutes elsewhere.

Yesterday, Lecce sporting director Pantaleo Corvino touched down in the Italian capital and is set to meet with Roma General Manager Tiago Pinto.

The newly promoted Serie A side are pushing to sign Bove on loan with option to buy and a buyback clause for Roma. The Giallorossi, on the other hand, want the temporary deal to take the form of a dry loan until the end of the season, reports Il Tempo.
