Lecce director Pantaleo Corvino cites Roma among favorites in Serie A race

Lecce director Pantaleo Corvino was asked to share his thoughts on the state of Serie A and the shifting dynamics among the top teams following the summer transfer window.

Corvino – who previously worked extensively for Fiorentina – applauded Roma’s transfer business, and listed the Giallorossi among the favorites to compete for the Serie A title.

“Napoli can be the real protagonist of this year’s show given Inter and Juventus’ constant ups and downs,” Corvino told Radio CRC.

“Napoli are a good team because they have a collective talent. Roma have done a great job this past summer but they’re not complete yet.”

“When you make considerations for the future, you must take into account the present, and the present tells us that teams like Napoli, Roma, Lazio and Atalanta can try to win it all.”
