Lecce technical director Pantaleo Corvino had good words to spare about Roma, their season and General Manager Tiago Pinto with whom Corvino shares a good relationship in a recent interview with calciomercato.it.
“I like Roma a lot this year, both on the pitch with Mourinho and off the pitch with Tiago Pinto,” said the former Fiorentina director.
“I really appreciate the work in terms of results as the club is fighting for second place. Let’s remember that Pinto has to work within certain limits established for Financial Fair Play because of his predecessors’ mistakes, so despite these limits, an excellent job was done which I really appreciate it.”
“A sporting director is judged by what he finds when he arrives, by the results he gets and by what he leaves when he leaves,” Corvino concluded.
