Lecce interested in Çetin

With the recent arrival of Ibañez from Atalanta, Roma’s Mert Çetin could seek a loan move away within the final days of the transfer window in order to find more consistent playing time.

Gianluca Di Marzio reports that one of the clubs who have expressed their interest in the Turkish defender is Lecce. The southern side currently sit 17th in the Serie A table and recently brought in midfield reinforcement Antonín Barák from Udinese — but they also want to shore up their defence.

Çetin, who joined from Turkish side Gençlerbirliği in the summer, has made only 5 appearances for Roma this season, including 1 start.
