Lecce manager Roberto D’Aversa attended his pre-match presser on the eve of Roma-Lecce at Stadio Olimpico.
The Italian technician discussed the challenging match awaiting his men.
“We have to think about ourselves. In front of us we will have a strong opponent and a sold-out stadium. We must have the will, enthusiasm and personality to perform. The result will be a consequence of our actions,” D’Aversa told reporters.
“The first objective must be to prevent Lukaku and Dybala from getting the ball. Lukaku is good at covering the ball, whereas Dybala is good at cutting inside. We have to work on both things. They have many strong players.”
“We must have the utmost respect and play with malice. Roma are stronger, but the pitch must prove the opposite,” he concluded.
