Lecce president Saverio Sticchi Damiani previewed the upcoming Serie A showdown with Roma.
In an interview with La Gazzetta del Mezzogiorno, Sticchi Damiani said, “We will be facing a good team that is in good condition.”
“But we will be busy in our own stadium, with our people present en masse in the stands,” he continued. “I am convinced that we can get a result against anyone, especially at home, with the push of the 28 thousand of the Via del Mare.”
“The boys will face the next games with the awareness of having the technical, athletic and moral qualities to stay in Serie A and avoid relegation. Each of the remaining matches must be seen as an opportunity to take a step towards the finish line.”
