Lecce president Saverio Sticchi Damiani was not happy with Jose Mourinho’s remarks regarding the conditions of the pitch of the Stadio Ettore Giardiniero at Via del Mare.
The Special One had called the pitch “awful” and explained how Roma were unable to play quality football because of risk of injuries.
Following the match, Sticchi Damiani wrote on Facebook, “I’m very proud of my boys… and equally as proud of our pitch conditions.”
