Leeds United manager Jesse Marsch addressed Diego Llorente decision to move on from the English club and sign temporarily with Roma in the final days of the transfer window.
“We realize we’re a bit under-staffed in the defense,” Marsch told reporters in a pre-match presser ahead of their engagement with Nottingham Forest. “But Diego felt there were some aspects of his personal life that compelled him to make a change in his career.”
Llorente joined Roma on loan with a buy option for around €18 million at the end of the season.
