Leeds interested in Florenzi

Alessandro Florenzi has returned to Rome from his loan spell in Valencia, however, his stay in the Italian capital will be brief.

According to The Athletic, a new club has expressed their interest in the versatile fullback: Leeds United. Reportedly, Marcelo Bielsa appreciates the Italian’s ability to play a variety of roles.

Florenzi is set to leave the Giallorossi this summer, though, his preference is to stay in Italy with the Euros coming up next year.

Fiorentina and Atalanta remain the favorites for his services, while Claudio Ranieri’s Sampdoria are also said to be interested in the 29 year-old former Roma captain, whose contract with the club expires in June 2023.
