La Repubblica (Ferrazza) – The deadline of 15 June for RB Leipzig to activate their option to buy on Patrik Schick has expired. The German club is asking for a discount on the €29 million sum agreed upon last summer, while Roma does not want to drop below €26 million, otherwise they would register a loss.
As the Giallorossi continue to negotiate with Leipzig, Roma transfer market consultant, Franco Baldini, is evaluating the possibilities of selling the Czech attacker to an English club, such as Tottenham and Everton.
Schick joined Julian Nagelsmann’s side in the final hours of last summer’s transfer market window and has bounced back nicely in Germany following two difficult seasons at Roma.
