Leonardo Spinazzola confident in Roma’s ambitions for the season

Roma fullback Leonardo Spinazzola was asked to comment on his side’s ambitions and objectives for the season ahead of the highly anticipated showdown in Turin with Juventus.

The Italian player – who returned from a serious injury earlier in the year and reaffirmed his status as one of Roma’s top performers – sounded confident in his side’s capabilities in an interview with DAZN.

“I think we’ll have fun this year,” said the 29-year-old. “We can have a lot of fun if we want to,” he added.

“This year, not only do we have plenty of quality, but also experience which is crucial.”

Spinazzola was asked about Roma’s front four – Abraham, Dybala, Zaniolo and Pellegrini – and their role in helping push the team toward its objectives. “They know they have a lot of quality and a great deal of responsibility because they must score goals, they must help carry Roma toward victory.”
