Roma advance to the next round of Europa League knockouts and Leonardo Spinazzola couldn’t be more thrilled. The Italian fullback recently returned to Mourinho’s starting eleven following a difficult period of injuries that sidelined him for the past few months.
“I don’t tolerate people talking about my past form. I am the player that I always was. I work hard to be in the best shape possible and every now and then I am at my best,” he told Sky Sport after the game.
“I work hard more and more. I work on the details and I’m so happy with this match, with how we played and with the qualification to the next round.”
