Leonardo Spinazzola is expected to be back with the team for Roma’s upcoming trip to Japan on Tuesday morning after being out for a month with a hamstring injury.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the Italian fullback will attend today’s team training and is expected to be reintegrated for group training activities.
For the past month, Spinazzola worked hard individually to shorten the recovery time which would allow for a smoother return to group training ahead of the season restart on 4 January.
During this time, the player also worked on his conditioning given the average output in the first half of the season, marked by too many underwhelming individual displays.
