Leonardo Spinazzola’s future remains uncertain

With recent reports discussing at length the contractual situation of the likes of Nicolo Zaniolo, Bryan Cristante, Chris Smalling and Nemanja Matic, Il Messaggero also touched upon Leonardo Spinazzola’s near future.

The Italian fullback’s contract with the capital club is set to expire in 2024. However, the newspaper claims there are no ongoing negotiations for his renewal unlike in the case of Bryan Cristante and Nicolo Zaniolo both of whom share the same expiry date.

Spinazzola’s future is yet to be determined. The Giallorossi are waiting for the 29-year-old to regain his pre-injury form and are willing to wait for him in doing so.

The ex-Atalanta man recently refused to leave for international duty in favor of staying behind at Trigoria and undergo individual drills to further improve his physical condition.
