The future of Eldor Shomurodov will likely be determined in the coming weeks as the Uzbeki striker is edging closer to an exit from the Italian capital.

Following an unsuccessful spell with the Giallorossi, Shomurodov is pushing to playing elsewhere, in search of more playing time.

While Roma remain engaged in talks with the player’s entourage and Torino – who are interested in signing the ex-Genoa man – French side Lille come also come forward.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Paulo Fonseca’s new team have approached Roma and expressed interest in Shomurodov.

Moreover, Lille are reportedly willing to advance a bid worth €13-14 million for Shomurodov.

The 27-year-old attacker, however, does not seem convinced of the destination and prefers to remain in Italy.
