Roma are confidently awaiting a response from Lille regarding their latest offer for Turkish fullback Zeki Çelik which amounts to around €7 million.
In the meantime, the French club have found a replacement for Çelik after weeks of negotiations.
After completing the appointment of former Roma boss Paulo Fonseca, Lille have announced the signing of Akim Zedadka from Clermont.
Zedadka – a 27-year-old right back – will take Çelik starting spot, further indicating the imminent transfer of the Turkish player to the Italian capital.
