Argentina manager Lionel Scaloni was asked to address Paulo Dybala’s limited playing time during this World Cup tournament.
Scaloni did not shy away from giving a direct answer to the reporters’ questions ahead of his side’s clash with the Netherlands.
“Paulo hasn’t played a single minute yet, that’s true,” admitted the Argentine technician. “But he’s doing well, and we’re happy with him.
“He hasn’t played yet because I haven’t found the right moment to put him on the pitch,” he continued. “Nonetheless, he’s still part of our group and we’re happy because of it. We have 26 players, we try to get them all to play but it’s difficult.”
