Liverpool’s Mo Salah: “Francesco Totti was my idol.”

Liverpool attacker and former Roma player Mohamed Salah was recently asked to speak about some of his idols growing up and the name of club legend Francesco Totti came up.

“When I was a kid, my idols were Zidane, Ronaldo and Totti,” he told BRSport. “Totti at Roma had an incredible presence.”

“When you hear people talking about Roma, you always hear them mention Totti. I would watch his league highlights… in my mind he was always incredible.”

“And then, when I got to play with him I saw it first hand. He was a bit older then, but his quality was still superb.”

“Playing with him was an incredible feeling,” concluded Salah.
