Lorenz Assignon has reiterated his desire to join Roma.
The French right-back is currently in pole position to move to the Italian capital ahead of the start of the Serie A season.
As reported by Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo, Assignon has already said ‘yes’ to Roma and now it is up to the capital club to find an agreement with Rennes.
The Giallorossi are aware of Rennes’ demands and are willing to negotiate a deal based on a loan with obligation to buy.
After concluding his loan at Burnley, Assignon hopes to find a permanent solution away from Rennes.
