Lorenz Assignon is Roma’s first choice to strengthen the right-back position ahead of next season.

The 24-year-old is currently leading the race to become Roma’s new fullback and rotate with Zeki Celik on the right flank.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the player’s valuation is around 10 million euros.

Roma have not yet submitted an offer but are evaluating the best formula.

The latest idea would be to include Rick Karsdorp in the deal as a quid pro quo, contributing to the payment of the Dutchman’s salary of 2.5 million net.

Assignon is also being followed by Aston Villa, but Roma remain in an advantageous position.
