Roma are in the final stages of negotiations for Rennes’ right-back Lorenz Assignon.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the deal is almost done.
Assignon will soon join the capital club on loan with obligation to buy.
The conditions to activate the obligation clause will be minimal.
The total fee will amount to €10 million between loan fee and obligation.
Last season the French full-back recorded 20 appearances with two goals and one assist at Rennes, before moving on loan to the Premier League to Burnley, with whom he played 15 times, scoring one goal and two assists.
