Former Napoli star Lorenzo Insigne is reportedly looking to return to Serie A after an unsatisfying spell in the MLS.

In recent weeks, Insigne experienced a major falling out with Toronto – reports calciomercato.com – and has asked his agent to enable a January transfer away from Canada.

The same news portal claims that Roma are one of the two clubs in Italy to have been linked with the Neapolitan winger.

However, for the moment Lazio appear to be the ones leading the race after having made contact with Insigne’s agent.

Insigne could be signed in January for a small fee or on loan with option to buy.
