Roma captain Lorenzo Pellegrini addressed the fans in an official video for the club two days after the Giallorossi’s defeat in the Europa League final.
Pellegrini thanked the fanbase for its committed support all season long.
“I wanted to address all our fans, those who were in the stadiums, those who watched us from home and those who fought to the end with us. You were unique, I wanted to thank you, because it is from the beginning of the season, from the presentation day with Shakhtar, until the final on Wednesday, you gave us all your love and everything you did for us this season will remain forever on our skin and in our hearts.”
