Lorenzo Pellegrini before Real Betis kick-off: “We want to do well tonight.”

Andy Mattioli

Roma captain Lorenzo Pellegrini spoke minutes away from kick-off in Seville to tonight’s Europa League affair with Real Betis. The Italian midfielder missed the first leg at the Olimpico due to injury but has since then recovered and will make an appearance from the start tonight.

“You might say this is the most difficult game of the group,” Pellegrini told Sky Sport.

“Betis are an excellent team. It’s an important game for us because we must get a result at all costs,” he added.

“I always try do as much as I can for the team. Last time out I did not play because I wasn’t deemed to be fit enough just yet. So, tonight’s important for me to be here.”

“I really want to do well and so does the team. We want to come out of this place with a result.”
