Roma captain Lorenzo Pellegrini will soon represent his country in a major competition with a historic shirt on.
The Giallorossi midfielder, along with Bryan Cristante, Gianluca Mancini and El Shaarawy, was included in Luciano Spalletti’s definitive squad for EURO 2024.
This will be Pellegrini’s first major competition with Italy.
Earlier today, the Italian federation (FIGC) released all of the shirt numbers the players will wear as the tournament in Germany approaches.
Pellegrini will follow in Francesco Totti’s footsteps and wear the prestigious number 10 jersey.
Cristante is set to wear the 16, Mancini the 17 and El Shaarawy will return to the 22 he already wore in the past.
